HDB resale or condo resale?

Young couples can look into resale HDB or private resale condominiums if they choose to begin their married life in their own house. Know how to Sell bto upgrade to condo. The cash flow and savings of newlywed couples will be significant factors. It takes less time than a BTO purchase to complete a resale HDB or private Condominium; both require roughly 3 to 4 months

The benefit of buying resale real estate is that during physical viewings, couples may get a better sense of the neighbourhood, learn who their neighbours are, use a compass to determine their orientation, feel the breeze, and other things. Couples might even talk to the resell owners to learn more about the local facilities. Teams can therefore make a sensible choice based on what they see.

Resale condos are a good option for young couples exploring lifestyles, provided the price is within their budget. Young couples will adore taking advantage of the condo amenities right outside their door, including the tennis court, jacuzzi, function room, music room, and gym.

Executive Apartments?

Young couples can buy Executive Condominium (EC), cheaper than a private condominium, if they want to live in an updated condo, but the cost of a resale condo is out of their price range. Executive Condominium is a privately developed, subsidised condominium managed by HDB. Young married couples in Singapore may apply for EC if their monthly household income is less than $16,000. It will be a wise decision. However, there is a three to four-year wait for it to be built.

Due to several restrictions imposed by HDB, EC is said to be reserved solely for the wealthy. Therefore, those who successfully applied for EC can benefit from capital growth when owners decide to sell after meeting MOP requirements. Do keep in mind that a resale levy must be paid if the next housing option is BTO or EC.
